Tasting notes : Visual : Intense gold robe.Nose : On the first nose, a toasted note gently reveals the oak-aged character of this wine. With aeration, the fruit character of the wine comes out, with aromas of yellow fruit, peach and apricot. Palate : Lovely freshness. The oak-ageing delivers well-defined aromas, especially hazelnut notes. The finish is long, with a hint of woodiness at the end. Practical guidelines : Food/wine matches : This wine will marry most elegantly with breast of fattened duck. Why not try it with foie gras? Alcohol by volume : 12,5 % alc/volPresent and future : The subtle, well-integrated woodiness of this Chablis makes for a very pleasant wine which will keep for 6 to 8 years.
