Particularity : The grapes for this wine come from a plot of 35 year-old vines. We aim for a yield of 45 Hectolitres per hectare in order to obtain greater concentration in the grapes and improved maturity.
Tasting notes :
Visual : Pale golden robe.
Nose : A typical first nose with fine minerality. Powerful dry fruit and honey aromas ending on a citrus fruit note.
Palate : Firm mouthfeel. Ripe fruits aromas will reveal apricot and hazelnuts notes. A long finish with a discreet spiced note and a fine minerality at the end.
Practical guidelines :
Food/wine matches : This wine will make a marvellous partner for scallop-shell and crayfish. It will be appreciate with white meat (veal and poultry) or sweet and salty dishes.
Alcohol by volume : 12,5 % alc/vol
Present and future : Still offering youth aromas, this wine may be kept 8 years.
